Starter Board
- The first board laid on your new deck is referred to as a starter board. Oztuff “C” clips allow you to accommodate the required 10mm distance from the wall/structure.
Hidden Fixing
- The Oztuff boards are designed to be used with Our ABS Plastic or Stainless Steel Hidden Clipping Systems.. The clips will guarantee a consistent gap between the edges of the boards. Each floor joist requires 1 clip per board.
- When joining boards using a Butt join, a double side by side joist is required. Fitting a clip on each joist.
Fascia
- Using the Oztuff fascia is an ideal way of finishing the edges of your new deck. Pre drilling of the fascia is required prior to fastening.
- Oztuff Fascia is available with a brushed finished in all decking colours.
Breaker Board
- The breaker board method of joining is recommended on long spans instead of butt joining. Using a breaker board will allow for additional board movement.
